I’ll admit, the thrill of an Easter egg hunt has always been about the candy for me, but that changed when I became a parent. 

I realized the sugar rush that followed the hunt isn’t ideal for our kiddos. While we still let them do the Easter Egg Hunt (even if there’s candy involved), the candy usually goes to waste. 😳

But this year, let’s give our kids an Easter Egg Hunt they’ll remember with Easter egg fillers they can actually enjoy.

Egg Fillers for One-Year Olds

Choosing fillers for one-year-olds had been a challenge. These little explorers place everything in their mouths, so we have to get creative and keep their safety in mind. 

Here are some Easter egg fillers for babies and one-year olds: 

No matter what you choose to put in your Easter eggs for your tiny ones, it’ll be something they’ll enjoy in the moment and won’t remember in the future. 😉 

So take off some pressure and keep it simple. Just remember to keep an eye out and ensure what they’re getting isn’t a choking hazard

Egg Fillers for Toddlers & Preschoolers (2-4)

For toddlers and preschoolers, sparking imagination is what we’re going for here. This group of kids loves to play with anything colorful and anything that’s new to them.

Now tweens are at a tricky age. You may have a kiddo who doesn’t think Easter Egg Hunts are cool anymore, or you might have one who just wants candy (and an iPhone). 😜

Even though they may be starting to outgrow egg hunts at this age, putting in a few dollars into the eggs will surely motivate them to go find the money!
